This one is the best I have ever seen. As my 2 Shakespeare Professors at the U of Or. stated, buy NO edition that doesn't have the notes. You must have the notes unless you have read a ton of Shakespeare. This books extras make it worth the money, the Plates, Drawings, and photos are an incredible resource.
The downside is that it is big. Pelican is probably the best way to go if you have to pack it around much.

10/10 would recommend. The Riverside has helped me with comprehension and understanding of the language.
Awesome!
This is an excellent one-stop source for Shakespeare's collected works (including some "non-traditional" selections). The presentation is very attractive, the critical essays are well-written and informative, and the collection is more than complete.
I do have two minor quibbles with this collection, however. One is that the annotations for each text appear at the bottom of the page, which is somewhat inconvenient for reading purposes. It would have been much easier to scan annotations if they were printed next to the text (perhaps a two-column format - left column for the play, right column for the annotations). Also, the books are more useful as a reference than a "portable, read-it-anywhere" collection. They are two fairly large books, so they're not really something you could take on the bus with you.
College classic, I lost mine some time ago and couldn't pass up a chance to replace with a reasonably priced used copy. Very satisfied.
Amazing help for my Shakespeare one and two classes. At first I was afraid to take these classes but this book breaks down the literature so well that anyone can fall in love with the poetry of Shakespeare.
I actually took a Shakespeare class in college for "fun" and this was my textbook (and no, I'm not the Diana Price who write the Shakespeare bio). I came back and got one after all these years as I regretted selling it back after the class. A great collection for your library.
Great condition. Better condition than the original I had from college in 1976 that my Shakespeare loving daughter had inherited, and that burned up with our house in the recent California wine country fires! Thanks!
